Lake Shore's LGBT Community

My partner and I have lived at Royal York & Lake Shore since the end of August and we really love the area - we will definitely be staying here for a while! We noticed that there are are many LGBT residents in the area but no real "community" feeling between all of us. This is the sence of gay pride that you find in many Downtown communities but is foreign to Etobicoke. We decided that we are going to try to help make the Lake Shore Villages area more LGBT positive this year, with the help of the Lake Shore Arts Council. We also have Councillor Mark Grimes on board, who fully supports the cause. If you have any ideas or would to help us you can contact me! :)
