New Toronto HAS Arrived
Tom Lebour, President of the Toronto Real Estate Board wrote a recent article published in the Toronto Sun dated October 23rd, 2009 calling New Toronto "another GEM of a neighbourhood". Tom goes on to say "this area has begun to attract young professionals thanks to the proximity to both downtown and most significantly, the waterfront".

Is the use of "Lakeshore Village" NOW an Accepted Moniker?
On September 2nd, 2005 the Globe and Mail newspaper did an article written by John Bently Mays called "New Toronto, by any other name".
It was an article questioning the "Lakeshore Village" name with the main focus on real estate. The by-line was "An old blue-collar neighbourhood get a fancy new moniker as the house-hungry discover a lakeside jewel in the rough".
