The City is currently replacing all of the lead water pipes on our street. We were told that we were responsible for replacing the pipe on our property. We received a quote from the contractor for $3200 to replace 15 feet of pipe and make the connection.Have other people received quotes? How important is it to have the residential portion replaced?
