Shop the Shore is not just a day in September, its every day. By buying local to your neighbourhood you help a business prosper and in turn create a climate for other great businesses to setup at the end of your street. It doesn't stop there, by buying local you saved yourself (and the planet) a long trip in your car, a frustrating time finding a parking spot at the mall, and you probably bumped into a neighbour or acquaintance and got caught up. The list of benefits goes on and on.

At Christmas this year, neighbouhood businesses are offering a sticker that rewards you for shopping in the area. The sticker not only lets everyone know that you support local business, it can also help you win great prizes.

Each sticker has a unique code on it that allows you to enter a ballot at www.ourlakeshore.net. The more you shop locally the more chances you have to win. Both gift giver and receiver are eligible to enter the contest. No codes entered more than two times will be valid.
