In a wake of the recent economic events, the year 2009 more than any other time, will have a significant impact on how we manage our lives, budget our expenses and plan for the future. And it is times like these where community support really matters. Instead of travelling a significant distance consider your local businesses for that choice item. The lakeshore area is full of unique establishments providing everything from a quick hearty meal to professional services.

What can you do to help the place where you live to sustain its growth and reach its potential? For Valentine's Day, order flowers from local flower shops, make reservation for that special night out at the local restaurant, for your income tax preparation hire a local accountant; purchase fresh organic bread from a local bakery, go for a walk and explore this flourishing neighbourhood , learn what it has to offer.

For 2009, by keeping you informed, we hope to inspire and encourage your participation in creating a more vibrant Lakeshore community! Be part of it.
